Meet our owner, Ryan Wilson
Texas Commercial Refrigeration is owned and operated by Ryan Wilson, a Central Texas business owner who built his company the same way he approaches his work—hands-on, detail-oriented, and with a strong sense of responsibility to the people he serves.
Based in Gatesville, Ryan works with businesses across Waco, Temple, Killeen, and surrounding areas, providing commercial refrigeration and HVAC services that customers can depend on.
Ryan has been around the supermarket industry since he was a teenager. He started out as a bagger and worked his way up over the course of 21 years, eventually leading a team as a store director.
That experience gave him a deep understanding of how critical refrigeration and HVAC systems are to daily operations. When something goes down, it doesn’t just slow things down—it can impact an entire business.
After stepping away from that role, Ryan began working in refrigeration. What started as a way to stay busy quickly turned into something more. He found that he genuinely enjoyed working with his hands again—learning the trade, solving problems, and seeing the results of a job done right.
Where it Started
Over the years, Ryan continued to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility within the industry. He eventually stepped into a leadership role with the same team he had started with, helping guide and develop others along the way.
After doing side work for several years, Ryan made the decision in 2023 to go out on his own and start Texas Commercial Refrigeration.
It wasn’t about chasing a title—it was about building something he could stand behind. A company rooted in integrity, hard work, and craftsmanship.

Some people might see the transition from overseeing a large operation in dress clothes to working in the field every day and think it’s a step backward. But for Ryan, it’s the opposite.
